Factory sealed 1987 Nintendo game bids on eBay reaching almost US$100,000

NES Statium Events

It is well known and accepted in the gaming community that Stadium Events is the rarest licensed NES game available. According to the seller description, in 1987 Nintendo purchased the rights to the Family Fun Fitness pad from Bandai as well as the rights to Stadium Events. After the purchase, Nintendo ordered a recall and almost *none* of these titles survived. The fact that this copy is factory sealed makes it even more rare.

In the next few days it is unlikely the price will go up too much, but we can expect it will certainly go over the US$100,000 mark towards the end.
