Atari console pioneer Steve Bristow passes away

It was announced on Atari Museum Facebook group the passing of Atari legend Steve Bristow this past Sunday. He was in charge of Atari’s Coin-Op Division during the glory days of stand-up arcade machines, was one of the pivotal players in the era that brought arcade machines into the home. He also came up with the concept for Breakout with Atari founder Nolan Bushnell and later rose to the position of Vice-President in the engineering division.
