Wired Magazine Interviews the people behind the Commodore Smartphone

We posted few months back news about an upcoming Commodore Smartphone. Today Wired Magazine has published an article where the reporter tell us everything about his talk with the company behind it, and also his impressions of the prototype he tested.

According to the article the phone, powered by Android, is actually well-built, with good specs and a very nice 5.5″ Gorilla Glass display. Other than the Commodore name and logo, the phone will come bundled with two emulators, customized versions of the Vice and Uae4All2.

The phone will be called Commodore PET which in my opinion hints that the pair of Italian entrepreneurs plan to follow Commodore’s classic computer names in upcoming models.

The PET will be first release in Europe, starting in France, Italy, Germany and Poland and it will cost between $300 and $350. Users can choose a white, black, or classic biscuit-beige case.
