'Bomber' new game for Atari 8-bit computers

Bomber is a new game for the Atari 8-bit computers, and it is based on a game of the same name released back in 1992, for the Commodore Format magazine cover tape.

Based on Kaboom by Activision, the gameplay is fairly simple. The Mad bomber drops bombs from the top of different scenarios, and at the bottom, the player controls a bucket and the objective is to catch all bombs.

Compared to the original C64, this new Atari version delivers better graphics, and also it adds an useful counter telling how many bombs are left in order to beat the level.

The Atari version was written from scratch since the original version used Multicolour Bitmap Mode. For the Atari it was used ANTIC4 charsets across the screen, PMGs code, and several other adjustments to fit the computer specific needs.
