Retro Collect reported today this incredible sale that just ended. Someone who probably took a lot of effort to collect all +3000 games ever made for the PS1 released in Japan decided to sell his collection. The highest bid was a little less than US$ 25,000 (or a more impressive 3,000,000 Ien). The collection has probably very rare and expensive items, but also very common and cheap games, so thinking that it was sold by an average of US$8 a piece it is not bad at all (assuming one have that kind of money to spare – not my case).

The new owner of this software library is still unknown, but we hope to learn more about the proud new owner if this amazing collection.
