John Selck (Graham/Arsenic/Oxyron) released an update of his GFX conversion program.
GFX Transformer is a small graphics converter tool which is able to convert between charset,
bitmap, color bitmap, FLI modes. It also features a simple sprite grid grabber
and also supports hires modes. It’s also possible to swap colours. When loading,
the tool automatically detects the file format.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
