Yes, another (or the same ?) Commodore 65 is having an auction on eBay. This one is being sold by the German eBay user “axelmuhr”, and as I write this, the higher bidder is willing to pay EUR 10.101,00.
The Commodore 65, also known as C64 DX is a prototype computer created in 1990-1991 aimed to be an improved version of the wildly successful Commodore 64, but getting very close to the Amiga capabilities.
According to Wikipedia, is is estimated that somewhere in between 50 and 200 units were produced. As we know, the C65 never reached the market and all units in the wild are still prototypes and therefore very rare.
The auction is set to end on October 18 at 17:10:45 GMT. If you have the money, how about fancy yourself an exclusive Christmas gift like that?
