Spanish Government still uses MSX for Driver's License Test

The Spanish government uses a computer with some handlers connected to asses the future driver hand-eye coordination. In some of the locations that apply the test, there are still MSX computers in operation.

Lavandeira.net has published some photos taken on Nov 6th of such equipment: a Mitsubishi ML-G1.

That is the second time this type of news comes out. The first one was about a School District still using an Amiga to control the A/C system of the schools.

It is actually good news to see an “old” equipment still in use if it still meets the needs of the task it is used for. Of course, it might be a bit hard to find parts in case of service maintenance.
