There is a new device for Amiga 500/500+/2000, called A500Flash, that allows you to load another Kickstart image by running additional software on the same Amiga computer and subsequent switching between available ROM.
There are two different models, A500Flash 5k and 1M – The first one features 512Kb of built-in flash memory and the second one, as you can guess, 1MB. The device is installed inside the Amiga, and the original ROM chip is required to work.
Developed by Retro 7-bit, the board is available through the company’s resellers. There is no price information available yet, but if you are interested, contact one of the resellers listed on the manufacturer website.
