Pinball Dreams on the Amstrad CPC? You better believe it!

21cenBatman Group (creators of Batman Forever Demo) have returned with some jaw dropping news! Pinball Dreams (yeah that awesome game that was on Amiga) is coming to Amstrad!
Apparently using only 40% of the Amstrad’s capabilities is a pretty amazing feat.
Graphics for the game will be created with Perfect Pix, a graphics tool released by the group themselves, which you can download over at Pouet. Perfect Pix is a set of graphic tools for Amstrad CPC with 3 extended video modes to get images of an unusual quality on an 8-bit machine. 00067770Batman Group continues to insist on demonstrating that the machine was totally wasted during it’s commercial life. And we warn: “although it will be the game technically advancing CPC to date, is still far from reaching the true potential. Amstrad According to our estimates, Pinball Dreams will use around 40% of the potential, Batman Forever will be around 60% while the classic commercial software rarely exceeded 10%.” The hype is sky – so that October is just around the corner … retromaniacmagazine
