Portuguese-speaking people out there, rejoice! Another retro magazine in print is ready for the debut!
The first issue of the Brazilian magazine Clube MSX will be available for pre-order tomorrow, May 15th. The quarterly magazine will be sold only in print with the first issue presenting 40 pages in full colour. The official release will happen during the 2018 RetroRio, a show dedicated to the retrocomputing enthusiast that will happen next May 31st to June 2nd, in Rio de Janeiro.
Starting tomorrow, the magazine will be available for pre-order at the Clube MSX website for R$ 19,90 (around USD 5.50) plus shipping. For people attending the RetroRio, the magazine will also be available for the same promotional price. After the show, Clube MSX will be sold for R$ 24,90 (USD 6.90) only via its website. International orders will be accepted via Paypal. All magazines that were ordered online will be shipped starting on June 4th.
The first issue will bring, among other interesting articles, the review of the game Inferno (game released in 2017 for the MSX 2); an article celebrating the 15th anniversary of the game competition MSXDev; an interview with Rafael Jannone, creator of MSXPen (playground for MSX software development); and an article about the first MSX ever produced, the Mitsubishi ML-8000.
