Igor Majstorovic is working on an FPGA accelerator (Vampire 600) for the Amiga 600. He started his project in 2010 and he now has a stable system. The accelerator improves the speed of the A600 from 0.55 Mips to 1.85 Mips. You can follow the progress of this project on Igor’s blog.
