Inspired by Steven Spielberg’s movie “Jaws”, indie developer Matt Round created an awesome browser game in HTML5, intended to imitate the style of a classic ZX-Spectrum text adventure in Sinclair BASIC. As a “homage” to his original work, Einar Saukas decided to port it for real to the ZX-Spectrum, using only Sinclair BASIC statements to ensure a 100% authentic feeling.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
