It is that time again! We are finally releasing the Commodore 64 CSDb demo releases from May, 2019. There was nothing less than nine demos (one-file demos and full demos) and one better than the other, so I recommend you watching them all.
I particularly liked What Is Special Order #937, Hokuto Force’s homage to the movie Alien, released 40 years ago. The demo is a bit strange as there is no background tune, but the sounds added “here and there” plus the amazing PETSCII art makes it one of a kind.
The other highlight is the full demo NGC1277 80% by Samar Productions with beautiful graphics and animation, completed by F7sus4’s chiptune.
Most of the other demos are short, so it won’t take much time to enjoy them all!
