A faithful fan remake of Conan: Hall of Volta, Datasoft’s 1984 action-platformer originally created for the Apple II and later ported to the Commodore 64 and Atari. Rebuilt from the ground up in Godot with its authentic 320×200 look and feel.
Volta the wizard has turned the land to stone. Fight your way through his hall of traps and creatures, brave every screen of his keep, and bring an end to his reign.
Features
- Boomerang-sword combat — hurl your blade and catch it on the return; miss the catch and it falls, so time your throws.
- Precision platforming — climb, leap, and time your way past collapsing floors, air jets, conveyor belts, and energy platforms.
- A hall full of hazards — outwit sparks, dragonflies, and the other denizens of Volta’s keep.
- Hidden secrets — find the concealed trap door and claim the extra life few players ever see.
- Authentic retro presentation — pixel-perfect 320×200 rendering with optional CRT scanline and color-palette modes that emulate a real Commodore monitor.
- Play your way — keyboard or gamepad, a full rebinding screen, and PAL/NTSC (50/60 Hz) audio-region options.
