You are Nyx, a scroll hunter on a flying carpet with a lamp held out in front of you, riding a cave that scrolls past on its own. The old scrolls drift in the dark. So do the bats.
NYX & THE SCROLLS is an arcade cave-runner for the Commodore 64 where the cave sets the pace and every scroll you take makes it faster.
Fly the gap, grab what drifts by, and keep the rock off your carpet. Every fifth scroll speeds the cave up, so a good run digs its own grave: the better you hunt, the harder the cave becomes.
