Last year Ben Heck built a ZX Spectrum clone, and made it a portable unit. This time, he wants to try again, but doing it properly, in a way other people could build their own unit, following a cleaner project than the previous one.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
