You may remember we mentioned Bubblesoft’s new upcoming ZX Spectrum game back in early March. Nixy the Glade sprite is a brand new AGD platformer, which we have been vigorously putting through it’s paces since the very first alpha version, weeding out the bugs, sharing ideas, and suggesting to Andy what could be improved to make the game the very best before an official release is announced. And that day is VERY close now! Over on the ZX Spectrum Next Gaming group, Andy recently announced that Nixy the Glade Sprite 128k version has just gone GOLD! What does this mean you ask? Let’s see what Andy has to say..
This has been a huge effort and I couldn’t have done it without a lot of help from David Saphier , Allan Turvey, CommodoreBlog and Alec Foster.
Its going to be on sale from Monument Micro Games via Graz Richards soon (We are working on stuffing the game into 48k) Oh and did I mention David is working on a Next version of the 128k game!
We currently have the final version in our hands, and, after playing through it, we are eager to see the public’s reaction to this new title. We don’t wish to give away too much at this point in time, suffice to say that this is a game that won’t disappoint. ;-)
Keep a close eye on the website, as we will be announcing the release very soon. The digital version will be free of charge and will be available to download via the Vitno PD Database, as well as a full review to follow. Watch this Space!
