Hoi 1992 Amiga platform game re-release

 by Martin Seven

Hoi is a platform game originally developed for the Commodore Amiga by Metin Seven (game design and graphics), Reinier van Vliet (game design and code) and Ramon Braumuller (music). The game was released in 1992 on two diskettes.

The game code was converted from the original Amiga 68000 Assembly code to portable C, enabling the game to run on Windows or MacOS without an Amiga emulator.

The source code and assets are available here if you’d like to build a Linux version. If you’ve made a properly working Linux executable, I would appreciate it if you would share it with me, so I can make it available to the gaming community. Many thanks in advance.

More info and downloads can be found in the Hoi Archive.

Have fun, and if you like Hoi, be sure to also check out its 1997 sequel Moon Child!
