Frode Solheim’s FS-UAE for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and BSD is based on WinUAE and can be completely controlled with a joypad.
The latest beta version of FS-UAE 2.4 is stable and has new functions as well as bug fixes, but does not provide all translations. The changes are listed in the release notes.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
