Paul Wasson has announced an update for his Apple II game, Froggo. According to the announcement:
“Thanks everybody for all the support for Froggo. I’ve been blown away with all the nice feedback. Seems like people like my silly game. I made a new release to address some of the issues raised.
See the webpage for the complete release notes, but here are some highlights:
- Extended collision detection to the top and bottom of the map, so Froggo can now not die until hitting the edge
- Fixed an issue when jumping from a moving platform could land in a blocked tile (tree or wall)
- Quicker restart after dying
- Changed the look of the train tracks
Please let me know if you find any other issues. And thanks for playing.”
The new version (1.2.2) is available for free download at https://www.lasermego.com/a2sw/froggo
