Speccy Jam starts on Aug 29th

Speccy Jam is a regular world wide 1 week game jam, where indie game developers come together to create games with the flavour of the legendary 8-bit personal home computer, the Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

The next edition will run from Aug 29th to Sep 5th, and this year it is bringing a stellar group of ZX Spectrum gamedev veterans which will be picking their personal favourite games after the jam.

The rules to participate are available on the Speccy Jam website, but to summarize, you can use any modern tool or game engine to create your game but the finished game must have the feel of a ZX Spectrum game and follow the rules for resolution, FPS, colours, etc…

To get involved, go to the website, sign up to the forum and follow @SpeccyJam on Twitter.
