Speccy & VIC-20 gamers rejoice…your Vegetables are being served

Double Sided Games has announced that the ‘Match 3’ style puzzle game, Vegetables Deluxe will soon be available for the ZX Spectrum and Commodore VIC-20.

The premise behind the Vegetables Deluxe is to swap adjacent vegetable shapes to form lines of three or more in a row. When this occurs, those shapes are destroyed and new shapes drop in from the top. Every few moves an immovable block will be dropped onto the play field. The game features a number of playing modes.

Created for the Commodore 64 in 2019 and ported across to the Amiga, original author of the game, Mike Richmond, has been busy porting his fun and challenging match 3 game to the ZX Spectrum.

Coincidentally, Nick Sherman from Arlasoft has also been working on a port of Vegetables Deluxe but for the Commodore VIC-20 that will require a 16k ram expansion.

Both games are looking great and will be available on cassette and digital download in December with pre-orders opening up soon.
