FX Software and AAMSX have released the Batman ROM for MSX2, an unofficial remake of Ocean Software’s Batman (1986) for systems such as ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC, that was originally published in 2014 as a paid game in physical format. Funny thing is, this isn’t even new News! I found the announcement on Twitter today from July this year. No idea how this slipped the net.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
