Lava, originally made for the ZX Spectrum 48K, loads in a minute from tape recorder. It’s a free download. Fortunately, there are still games released for the ZX Spectrum these days, but not many available for 16K machines. The reworked version of Lava, which was completed in BASIC in 2014 for a 48K machine, can also be played on a 16K machine. The new version does not come with a loading screen in order to load faster, and it was already made in machine code for a smaller size and better performance, both of which the game produced spectacular progress.
