Krzysztof “Amarok” Piotrowski (Poland) revealed that he has been working on an extended edition of “Time Wizard,” his renowned game for Atari 8-bit computers.
Piotrowski hinted that this version will feature “the first of many new planned mechanics” for the game, such as horizontal portals.
Similarly, an initial screen to choose the language will be included – currently available in English and Polish. Additionally, the game will be distributed in a physical edition (cartridge) for collectors.
This new edition of the game, where we can manipulate time to fight against futuristic robots trying to alter history, will be compatible with Atari computers with 64KB of RAM.
We cannot forget that “Time Wizard” took first place in the prestigious Atari Bit Byter User Club (ABBUC) 2023, as well as the FujiCup 2023; in addition to winning the Best Atari 8-Bit/5200 Homebrew Game category in the sixth edition of the Atari Homebrew Awards.
