Dungeon Master was originally developed for the Atari ST by FTL Games, and later ported for the Amiga, Apple IIGS, PC, SNES, TurboGrafx-CD, Sharp X68000 and PC-9801. The game established several new standards for RPG and video games in general.
Jimmy Maher, The Digital Antiquarian, has published to articles about the game. The first one talks about the development of the game and the story of FTL. The second article just came out today, showing more of a “The playing of” the game, discussing in details the gameplay and other aspects of the game.
