As you know, the Super Famicom is the Japanese cousin of the Super Nintendo. What you probably don’t know is that there will be a new cartridge being released for it in 2017!
The game is not a brand new homebrew, as you could expect when reading the headline. Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero was actually released in 1997 as a digital download only, part of the titles that supported the Satellaview, a modem add-on for the Super Famicom. The idea is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its release with a limited edition in physical form.

I am actually surprised that a home console had downloadable content back then, and it seems this is the only Satellaview title to be released in a cartridge.
To be released in late June, the package version of Kaizou Choujin Shubibinman Zero will cost the equivalent of US$62. A bargain if you are an avid Nintendo collector!
The game can be pre-ordered at Amazon Japan, but be aware that usually, Amazon won’t ship to other countries, so the interested might need a proxy in Japan in order to get your hands on one copy!
