Galencia Khaos Sphere, Progress Update

Jason Aldred has provided backers with another update to his Galencia Khaos Sphere project for the Commodore 64. Aldred reported that “everything is on schedule and I have pretty much completed the core engine for the vertical scrolling section, with everything in place”.  Aldred also goes on to confirm Galencia Khaos Sphere’s NTSC compatability (in addition to PAL).

Galencia Khaos Sphere is scheduled to be released in November 2018 and will feature three distinct playing styles – vertical scrolling, static screen and perspective. Aldred confirmed that he is going to start development on the perspective section of the game next, which is something akin to Gyruss.

Aldred also showed off pictures of a 3D print of the Galencia Fighter featured in the game. OBJ models of the fighter were distributed to backers a couple of weeks ago and here we see one of the results.
