Retro gamers looking for some classic fighting action can let off some steam with the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up bundle, a collection of seven classic side-scrolling, coin-op brawlers. The line-up includes Final Fight, Captain Commando and Armored Warriors, each of which acts as a reminder as to why Capcom was such a dominant force in the 80’s and 90’s arcade gaming scene.
I was disappointed to note that The Punisher – a game so amazing I bought an X-Arcade stick just to play it – was missing from the line-up, but there’s still plenty of gut-thumping action on offer here, and £16 for the Steam version seems pretty reasonable if you’re a fan of the genre.
The Capcom Beat ‘Em Up bundle is available for PC via Steam or Humble, and is also available for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
Nice collection! Regarding the trailer, I doubt that someone who learned to play games on joystick would so easily adapt to joypad. I know I never did… :)
