C64Ultimate Infocom Collection

Sample from the game Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

If you have a Commodore 64 Ultimate, a 1541 Ultimate, a TheC64, an SD2IEC, or a 1581 drive, and you enjoy a good text adventure, this collection is for you. It contains all Infocom games that were released for the C64, four Infocom games that were released for C128 but not C64 (Now playable on C64!), and a number of modern-day games using Infocom’s game format.

Trinity, one of Infocom’s true masterpieces, now for C64

Each game comes in a d81 disk image, so to play you need either a 1581 disk drive, or a way to use d81 disk image files directly (e.g. a C64Ultimate, a TheC64, or an SD2IEC). Also, if you have a real or emulated REU (RAM Expansion Unit), you should enable it. Any size is useful, but to get the full benefit, it should be 512 KB or larger. This lets the games use REU for caching the game data, so no disk access is required during play, plus you can use Undo in the games (Press Ctrl-U or type “undo”, depending on game), and access a scrollback buffer (Press F5).
