Prodatron released a beta version of SymbOS v3.0 – his operating system for the Amstrad CPC and the MSX.
The main new feature of this release is the support for the DenYoNet network card on the MSX, and a driver for localhost. There is not network support for the Amstrad, though.
The author seems pretty excited with this new release based on his comments on CPCWiki forum:
It seems that network support is introducing a complete new world for a multitasking environment on a 8bit Z80 machines. The amount of possibilities is still crazy and so we have quite a lot of new apps, which have been added during the last weeks.
