Video Archaeology – Visit to Commodore Canada HQ in 1991

Back in 1991, the high school student Ben Kayfetz made a video for a school project. Since he worked at Commodore Canada in the service and support departments, he filmed a visit to Commodore Canadian Headquarters.

Although the video hasn’t the best image quality (VHS school project, right?), it is actually well edited, and a nice piece of history about Commodore.

On his YouTube channel, Ben alerts that the original video got taped over for about 1 minute at the beginning:

The girl in the clip was my high school girlfriend ;) and she didn’t look very happy for some reason…

He also shared a Google Streetview of the building where Commodore Canada used to be. Nice touch!

  1. Wait…we’re supposed to believe that a Commodore geek had a girlfriend in high school? I smell conspiracy!

(of course, I’m kidding — even I had an obviously desperate girlfriend in high school)
