Marcelo Lv Cabral recently announced on Twitter that he will be releasing the first beta version of a game he has been working on. Marcelo is porting the popular Roku game Retaliate over to the Commodore 64! You will be able to download the game via GitHub this weekend! This will be his first C64 game, and in time he will keep improving it as an open source project.

Release 5 fixes multiple bugs, and brings the game closer to the original. There are now five dwarves, as in the original, and you can’t just teleport out of tight spots. Of course, the game still rocks on 8-bit hardware.
