It was published today a video presentation from the Game Developer Conference 2012 featuring our beloved TRS-80 and its iconic games.
The presentation is about game design where Jim McGinley shows many classic TRS-80 games like Dancing Demon and Outhouse, and how some of them had a fantastic design considering how limited is the machine’s resolution. He has some interesting views on when sometimes, the lack of good resolution worked in favour making the game better than if it had better graphics.
It is an excellent presentation if you are interested in game design, but your true love is retro computing!
